Oh boy, girl I’m a grandpa and I think the dress is fantastic. I would deffinetly wear a string of pearls with it though just to take away the bust line looking like a bra on a night dress. This is not critisizim. I do think it is a great looking dress. Looks expensive. MO
I am going to try out for my high school dance team. We are required to wear pantyhose for the costume, and I was wondering: what’s the difference between like dance pantyhose and formal pantyhose? And what kind of underwear should I wear under the hosiery? I normally wear lace embroidered bikini cut panties, but will these work under the pantyhose or…?
your answer has to do with the denier of the pantyhose.
what is denier – A unit of fineness for rayon, nylon, and silk fibers, based on a standard mass per length of 1 gram per 9,000 meters of yarn.
For you that mean the lower the denier the more sheer the pantyhose is. So formal pantyhose has a lower denier and is more sheer, so it may run faster especially during you dance routines.
With a dance team you may want a pair that has a higher denier, so that you won’t have to replace them as often.
